Enjoy winter to the fullest at
Johnston's Cranberry Marsh, where there's plenty of fresh powder and tart libations.
Take the morning to frolic, or stride powerfully, in snowshoes along Little Orville Lake trail, then reward yourself with a Bog-to-Bottle Discovery. (This plan also works in reverse, beginning with wine tasting to fuel your snowshoe expedition). See how the cranberries go from evergreen vine to bottle on a guided tour of the farm that culminates in a tutored sampling of a flight of wines.
You can also skate a 1.2 km loop around 12 acres of cranberries. With a forest on one side and cranberry beds on the other, this is a one-of-a-kind experience. Stop by the waterfalls and end your day warming up by the fire.
