Listen up, young WagJaggers: there was a time in the not-so-distant past when chocolate and peanut butter were considered a radical new pairing. Some people may have asked at the time, “What’s next? Thai and Vietnamese food at the same restaurant?” Well, it's time to get with the now, people, with today's WagJag: for $7, get $15 worth of Vietnamese and Thai dishes at Pho Fuzion.
Pho Fuzion’s fresh and authentic menu showcases the best of both Vietnamese and Thai cuisine - why else would they be called fuzion? Investigate the reason they’ve made a name for themselves in the Pho (beef noodle soup) game, with a small ($5.50), large ($6.50) or extra large ($7.50) bowl of the tasty, filling broth. The Pho comes in a variety of realizations, from Pho Fuzion (with rice noodles), Pho Tai (with medium rare beef and rice noodles), Pho Tai Gan Sach (with medium rare beef, tendons and stewed tripe). There are also chicken or pork options available, if beef isn’t your thing. On the noodle front, there are Vietnamese fried udon or vermicelli noodles with fried or sautéed shrimp, chicken or beef ($9); and representing the Thai element, there’s Pad Thai with your choice of the same meats ($9) or Spicy Chicken, Shrimp or Beef in Red Thai Sauce with Rice ($9). And no Vietnamese restaurant is complete without BBQ pork or some sugar cane: Bun Thit Nuong, which is BBQ Pork on Vermicelli, will run you $7, and the Bun Chao Tom, Nem Nuong, Cha Gio, which is minced shrimp on sugar cane with grilled pork, will cost you a scant $8.50.
Friendly service awaits hungry dine-in patrons, so head on over to Pho Fuzion to experience a little globe-hopping and culture mixing within your own postal code, courtesy of WagJag.
"I LOVE the food at Pho Fuzion. I usually bring my family here in groups of 5-7, and food comes in great timing. Staff is always attentive, and the overall atmosphere is beautiful! It's not the same as any other restaurant, as it is not a franchise, so it feels more home-ly and customized in its Vietnamese food " - AsianFoodLover, restaurantica
