WAGJAG FESTIVE FAVOURITES HOLIDAY BADGE CONTEST RULES
1.Agreement: These rules govern the WagJag Festive Favourites Holiday Badge ("Contest"). No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest rules and the decisions of the Contest judges, which decisions shall be final and binding upon all entrants.
2.Sponsor: Contest sponsor is WagJag.com, which is operated by Wagjag Ltd. ("Sponsor").
3.Eligibility: The Contest is open to all residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have attained the age majority in the province in which they reside, except for employees, their immediate families and anyone living with any employee of the Sponsor or its corporate affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies. Each separate deal purchased with a Holiday Badge will count as an automatic entry into the Contest. Each original essay submission will count as an automatic entry into the Contest. Incomplete or illegible entries, bulk drop offs, photocopies, scanned copies, facsimiles or other mechanically or electronically reproduced entries will not be accepted and will be disqualified.
4.Contest: The Contest Period begins 12:01 AM ET on November 2nd, 2012 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on December 27th, 2012. To qualify, entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on December 27th, 2012. There are two ways to enter the Contest. Read these Contest rules, and follow the instructions below to enter during the Contest Period.
To enter the contest either: (i) purchase a deal with a Holiday Badge on WagJag.com to be automatically entered into the draw for your chance to win OR (ii) Write an essay of between 150 and 300 words on one of the following topics; 3 great deals you'd love to see on WagJag.com and provide a reason why for each; what WagJag means to you; an improvement that could be made to WagJag that would improve your experience; the best experience you've had purchasing a WagJag deal, which deal you purchased and what made it a great experience.
(i)Purchase a deal from WagJag.com with a Festive Favourites Badge. During the Contest Period, visit http://www.wagjag.com and purchase a deal with a Holiday Badge by clicking on the "Buy" button, filling in your information to create a WagJag account or log in to your existing WagJag account, and entering your credit card information. To qualify for an automatic entry into the Contest, purchases must be made within the Contest Period. Once you have made your purchase as described above, you will be automatically entered into the Contest. Each separate deal purchased with a Holiday Badge will count as an automatic entry into the Contest.
(ii)Write on one or more of the 4 Essay Topics! Before the end of the Contest Period, email us at support@wagjag.com with the subject line "WagJag Festive Favourites Holiday Badge Contest" and an original essay of 150-300 words on one of the following topics; 3 great deals you'd love to see on WagJag.com and provide a reason why for each; what WagJag means to you; an improvement that could be made to WagJag that would improve your experience; the best experience you've had purchasing a WagJag deal, which deal you purchased and what made it a great experience. Each original essay submission will count as an automatic entry into the Contest. When entering, be sure to review these rules and regulations, and include your full name, mailing address, email address and daytime phone number with your essay (a valid email address is required).
The potential winners will be chosen by random draw, which will take place at 590 King St. West, Suite 400 Toronto, ON on December 28th 2012. The potential winners will be contacted by telephone or email by a representative of the Sponsor on or around January 4th, 2013, and must reply within 48 hours to maintain eligibility. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within this time period or fails to respond to any attempted contact, such potential winner will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select at random another eligible entry, in which event these provisions shall apply to such other eligible entry. In order to be eligible to win, the potential winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid.
5.Prize: There are six (6) prizes available to be won. One (1) Grand Prize is available to be won consisting of one (1) Apple iPad with Wi-Fi 16GB- Black (3rd generation). Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $519.00 CAD. "Apple" and "iPad" are trademarks of Apple Inc. Please note that Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, nor a participant in, this Contest. Five (5) Secondary Prizes are available to be won consisting of a two hundred dollar ($200 CAD) promotional code for WagJag.com to be used toward the purchase of any deal found at http://www.wagjag.com. Promotional codes expire May 1, 2013. The promotional code has no cash value, is not transferable or exchangeable for cash, is not valid with any other offers or promotions and is subject to merchandise availability and other restrictions. Approximate retail value of each Secondary Prize is $200 CAD. Potential Grand Prize Winner will be contacted by phone and must provide full mailing address to claim the prize won. Grand Prize will be couriered within two (2) weeks of Contest period close. Potential winner must be available to receive package or follow instructions provided by the currier service to pick up prize at nearest location. The Secondary Prizes will be sent to winners via email. Sponsor will not mail or courier Secondary Prizes. Sponsor is not responsible for currier delays, lost, stolen, damaged or unclaimed prizes.
6.Release: Prior to receiving a prize, each potential winner will be required to show valid photo ID and to sign a declaration of eligibility and release form releasing the Sponsor and its related parties from any and all liability in connection with the Contest and/or the prize, confirming compliance with the rules and consenting to the use of his or her name and photograph, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsor and/or its advertising and promotional agencies. The signed form must be received by Sponsor within 48 hours of notification or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate entrant.
7. Privacy: We use your personal contact information to administer this Contest, including contacting, announcing and promoting prizewinners. In addition, we may use this information to send you offers or information from us, our affiliates and from selected sponsors or advertisers ("Marketing Offers"). If you do not wish to receive Marketing Offers, you may opt-out at any time by: following the instructions at the bottom of any email Marketing Offer you receive, informing your telemarketer at the time you are called with a Marketing Offer, calling 416-687-5848 within the GTA, or outside the GTA toll free: 1-855-4-WAGJAG (1-855-492-4524) and requesting that your personal information not be used for Marketing Offers, or emailing info@wagjag.com and requesting that your personal information not be used for Marketing Offers. The Contest is run in compliance with the WagJag.com privacy code, which may be found in full at http://www.wagjag.com/index.php?_page=terms.
8.Banning: The Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, prohibit any person from entering the Contest whom it believes to be abusing the rules. Such abuse includes entering false information and entering more than once.
9.Other: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. This Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein and is void where prohibited by law. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest or the Contest rules at any time without notice. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize or portion of the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. All prizes are awarded as-is and no warranties or guarantees are implied or expressed, beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. The Sponsor is not liable for any lost, late, misdirected or stolen entries or inability to process entries, or any errors, injury, loss, damage or negligence that may arise in connection with this Contest, including but not limited to any technical failures of any website or software, viruses, website disruptions, malfunctions, website down-time, human error, personal injury or property damage incurred by any Contest entrant. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. Use of any automated system including robotic or form filling software to enter or participate in this Contest is prohibited and will result in disqualification of all entries by anyone using such assistance. If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address provided at time of entry. Authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
