Theatre superstitions are very important to follow despite their contradictory nature, such as the idea that wishing one "good luck" is actually bad luck and that speaking the name of Macbeth on stage causes students in the audience to forget to study for their English final the next morning. Avoid becoming fortune's fool with today's WagJag for a ticket to The Wizard of Oz at the Ed Mirvish Theatre. Choose from the following ticket options:
- $59 or $79 for a ticket in Price 1 or Price 2 sections, orchestra seats AA-U centre or mezzanine seats AA-G (up to a $130 value)
- $39 for a ticket in Price 3 or 4 sections, orchestra seats G-P far sides, R-U sides or mezzanine seats H-N (up to an $89 value)

The latest adaptation of this beloved classic, The Wizard of Oz is a brand-new production from theatrical powerhouse Andrew Lloyd Webber, largely inspired by the 1939 film of the same name starring Judy Garland. The story follows Dorothy, a teenage farm girl who literally gets swept away from her Kansas life to the fantastical land of Oz. Her whimsical adventure is highlighted by a colourful list of characters, including a talking scarecrow, anxiety-ridden lion and petulant witch, who alternately help or hinder her on her journey back home.
The show features all of the much-loved tunes from the film version, including "Over the Rainbow," "If I Only Had a Brain" and "Follow the Yellow Brick Road," plus a few new tracks penned by Andrew Lloyd Webber and longtime lyrical collaborator Tim Rice. Danielle Wade stars as Dorothy, a well-deserved casting that came after an intense eight-week audition process documented on the hit CBC show, Over the Rainbow.
